The Basic Four

Dear Friends

Namaskaar!

I could not start my series on ‘the Geeta’ as stated earlier by me because my second view on the subject did not permit to do so.
Is it necessary to start from famous scriptures like ‘the Geeta’? The subject matter of this book is complex and advanced. And on my blog I wish to start something from basic and that too relating to our day to day ways of life that may prove how mature the human consciousness has become.

There is a claim by many that human consciousness is getting mature day by day.
I decided to write about ‘the Geeta’ only because I am born to a Hindu family, the very idea filled me with guilt. Is this the maturity of consciousness? A Hindu remains a Hindu throughout his life and does not get mature enough to become a human being first. That is the case with other religions too. Can human consciousness not remain pristine; uncorrupted by any theology, any set pattern of rituals?

All these things have poisoned human mind. Despite sincere efforts of great persons like J. Krishnamurti, Swami Vivekanand, Osho and George Gurdjieff man likes to follow the rituals set by others. Man still goes to temple, prays as many times told to him by his religious tradition, gets up early in the morning and recite set pieces of poetry. A man dutifully does so and even then humanity suffers.

Why humanity suffers and can this suffering come an end? If yes, how?

We will have to make analysis of things as they happen.

From Scriptures:  The common things in every living creature are four. They are – Aahar(Food), Nidra(Sleep), Bhaey(Fear) and Maitun(Sex).

These are the four pillars around which a living creature dances throughout its life.
We will discuss these one by one if ‘theTime’ permits me to do so.

The Hindus call it ‘Kaal’. It swallows each and everything, but none can harm it. Nothing can be added to it and nothing can be subtracted out of it. It is complete and the only one. That is why it is the only truth.
Just out of reverence some call it ‘Mahakaal.’

See you soon .
Jai Mahakaal!
