Dear Friends
Namaskaar!
Aahaar (Food), Nidra(Sleep), Bhae(Fear) and
Maithun(Sex) that are common in every creature; let us take ‘food’ first of
all.
Food is the basic necessity of and for life. The
Nature has made food available for every creature. The Nature hardly creates
scarcity of food for any creature that lives on this planet. It is only ‘Cultured and civilized human
being’ that creates problems for its fellow-beings.
In the world of animals there is never a scarcity
of food.
A lion is
out for hunting. He gets his prey. He takes his share and goes away to have a
nap. Then others come and have their share and go away peacefully. There may be
a quarrel or a battle but they are never at War for food.
The animals sit silently, seasons change. The trees
blossom, the grass grows. The animals graze or eat fruits of their like and are
satisfied. The cycle of life goes on.
The animals which are vegetarian eat grass, fruits
and vegetables. The animals which are non-veg take their own course. There is
never a conflict.
Some animals are of dual nature. They are vegetarians
and non-vegetarians both, for example- a Dog. A dog can eat both types of food
vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Strange enough, Man also has the very same
nature. It is a strange similarity between both of these. Perhaps that’s why
they are fast friends. From ages they are in friendship with each other may it
be Yudhishter of Mahabharata age or Barrack Obama of modern age.
Darwin has every right to say that ancestors of
man are the monkeys. But I doubt. The similarity of nature of the man is with a
dog. The scientists must re-search.
The religion of Hindus is called the most ancient
one on earth. The Hindus try to feed their dead fore-fathers on the dark- half
part of their Lunar Calendar month Aashwin every year. They perform
this ritual of theirs very religiously.
During these fifteen days to satisfy their
fore-fathers they feed a Brahmin. a Dog and a Crow. Strange enough! Why a dog
and why not a monkey? If any of learned readers know it. Please inform me and
increase my knowledge.
So, the necessity of ‘food’ is to our fore-fathers
also, some think and act accordingly.
Anyway.
Friends, take food that makes you more conscious, alert
and aware and not a dull one. A food that makes you more sensitive and sensible
towards mankind.
Next, we shall talk about ‘Nidra’.
Jai
MahaKaal!
